Applying for your new Achieva account is simple and secure. Complete our Online Application, press send, then print, sign and mail in your application with your initial deposit which must be in the form of a personal cheque made payable to yourself at:

Once you have sent your application online, you will immediately receive an email confirmation that we’ve received your online application and you will have 15 days to send us the signed application you printed off, along with your initial deposit.
Your initial deposit must be in the form of a personalized cheque made payable to yourself. This is a requirement for each individual applying to be a signer on the account due to the implementation of Bill C-22, the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) Act.
Achieva requires a personal cheque to be submitted from all applicants on the account. If the account is being opened as a joint account, your personalized cheque must show both signers, or individual cheques must be forwarded for each joint signer.Achieva Direct
- Have funds transferred to or from your Achieva account from or to any other financial institution. Simply access the "Achieva Direct" menu option within Achieva Online and follow the steps to create the link to other financial institution accounts.Achieva Automated Savings Program
- An automated savings program makes it easy to save. An Automated Savings Program (ASP) is a regularly scheduled transfer that moves money form your other financial institution's account to Achieva. You select the funds to be transferred and the frequency of the transfer and it is processed by Achieva for you on those dates. Automated Savings plans are only available to transfer money to Achieva from other financial institutions.
ASPs are set up by completing a request form - just print off the Automated Savings Program Form
specifying the transfer amount and frequency and forward along with a voided cheque from the account you would like the funds taken from. Use this same form to change the frequency or amount of an existing Achieva Automated Savings Program transfer.

After we’ve received your signed application and personal cheque, we will open your Achieva account and deposit the funds into your account. We will then send you a Welcome Package in the mail. This package contains deposit envelopes and your account number to get you started.
You will also receive a Security Package if you requested electronic service options. It will contain the codes for the electronic options including your choices of:
- A security code to access automated telephone banking through Achieva Touchtone.
- A security code to access internet banking through Achieva Online.
As a further security measure, your ATM card, ATM PIN and personalized cheques will all be mailed separately.
